The winery made up of about 10 acres with a colonial style home, and stall were purchased in 1959 by our grandfather Antonio, who moved here with his family from Istria, and started the first production of wine. In the 70's he turned over the making of the wine to his son Luciano, who sold all the livestock, using the stall as the first winery.
In the first part of the 80's with the increase in request for his wine Luciano started work on a new building to house the winery. During these years the winery purched it first technology advanced equipment for wine making, wine filter, bottling machine, and labeling machine.
During the middle of the 80's Luciano acquired 6acres from an adjoining property along with another colonial style home, and right away he started planting new vines increasing the types and quantity of wine available.
Starting in the late 80's work started on the new portion of the winery, which was completed in 1991 the same year that Luciano died. From that time the winery has been run by his children, Daniela, Alessandra, Roberto, and in later years Fabio, with direction given by their mother Giuditta, they carried forward the projects that their father had started.
In the last few years the winery has been renovated with new equipment for the winery, as well as the vineyard, removing old vines and planting new ones with a system to obtain better production and quality of our wines. The vineyard today consists of 18.7 acres of grapes with 13 different types of grapes all of the DOC denomination, one acre of Kiwi fruit, and 3000meters of green asparagus.
